Columbian FARC vs. Al Qaida

Here's an interesting point, and reason for hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel on the war on Islamism.

The list of the failures of FARC (the Marxian terrorist rebels in Columbia)--no doubt lovers of Barack Hussein Obama--over the last 5 years is remarkable. They are mental midgets. They are screw-ups. They are sophomoric, onanistic, reprobates.

That pretty much also describes your left wing liberals in the Demokratik party, but it also fits the Islamic terrorists and all of their supporters (66%) in the Islamic and Arab world.

This realization mustn't lead us to over-confidence or laziness. Criminals have to be beat back with clubs.

But when I read of the rescue of the hostages in Columbia from FARC, and how stupidly they succumbed to dumb images (Che Gueverra t-shirts!?) I was frankly given some hope that our struggle against a reinvigorated Islamist threat on the Judeo-Christian West is not as irreversible as we think.

Even if those people have studied in Western universities, I guarantee you that they are among the dumber students, the intransigent idiots, and their veiled girls, that I encounter all the time in my classes. Mind you that idiot students are as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than your average social deviant.

Note that I have always had good Moslem students, including veiled girls, who are not radical Islamists.

But here's the further problemo: the Islamists are rabidly seeking weapons of mass destruction...
