What in the World is AGLOCO?

It stands for A GLObal COmmunity.
Agloco is a company that aims at distributing online advertising dollars (estimated to rise to over $1 TRILLION annually in the coming years) to online USERS.
That's right: to USERS!
And joining it is FREE!
You surf the net, you get paid for the ads that you see. That's basically it and it's a brilliant idea. Go here for more info and, if you think it's worth a shot, to sign up!
Regular readers know that I've experimented with various ways to potentially make a buck or two off of the news reading and venting of spleen I do. This Agloco is very interesting, the most interesting thing I've seen. Dumb Ox has jumped on board and wanted to pass on this opportunity--new folks sign up under someone, and it might as well be me...right?
It's FREE, always, no charge, nothing. If it works, you win. Big. If it plops, users lose zip, nada, niente. I would NOT buy stock in Agloco at this point, but I'm more than willing to become a potential Agloco user.
Here's a bit from the company:
What is AGLOCO™ all about?
AGLOCO™ is the first Internet based economic network, which enables you as a Member to Get your share of the Internet.
Advertiser's, search companies, online merchants and other businesses currently pay lots of companies to deliver people like you to them for attention and commerce. With AGLOCO™ they will be paying YOUR company. AGLOCO™ is also a global community of Internet users whose active Members can be paid for all their online activity. By downloading our proprietary Viewbar™ technology, members benefit from engaging content tailored to their interests. AGLOCO™ also pays its members to refer their friends to the community (and for those friends to refer more friends through four levels of extended referrals.)
Go here to find out more, and then sign up! There's no time like now to get started. The software for the "Viewbar" is due out as soon as there are enough members to sell advertising at decent rates--or at least that is my interpretation.
All the best,
D. Ox
p.s. you do know that the ads for shops or Discover cards only pay if you shop them or apply for a card, right? The Discover cards have a few promotions going, FYI. The text links from Bidvertizer pay every time you click on them to see the ad... so please do click them--HELLOOO--every time you pop by, click on a Bidvert! I try to click on the AdSense or similar ads when I go to friends' sites. Check out Bidvertizer, it pays better than Google Adsense.
p.p.s. If these Trader's Narrative and TechCrunch are the most negative business reviews of Agloco, then you should be doubly assured that there is no reason not to join! It is free, and basically you would not do anything any differently. Yeah, a lot depends on the good faith of the founders. That goes for just about any business venture. I don't see any down-side to giving it a shot. Neither does John Chow.
