Dumb Ox Opines...

Santorum for VICE PRESIDENT... Now!

Mind you, Newsmax floated the idea, two days after our post here on this topic, that now might be a good time to name CONDI Vice President. I beg to differ...

With Dick "Cheney the Great" suffering from yet another cardio-vascular problem, on top of having to deal with the lying Democrats and their evil scumbuggery, on top of having his friend Scooter Libby unjustly convicted on political crimes by a Democrat kangaroo court, I am ready to make the following modest proposals:

1) Dick Cheney should resign (and become attack-dog-in-chief),

and,

2) President Bush should nominate Rick Santorum for Vice President and get him confirmed A.S.A.P.

It's the only way to break the stranglehold of the megalomaniacs, Giuliani and McCain on the nomination. Rick Santorum could leap-frog over these pseudo-conservatives in a single bound!

Giuliani, the cross-dressing, pro-gay "marriage," pro-abortion, pro-fornication and pro-philandering contender is WAY ahead of McCain--and McCain who will no doubt fare even worse during the primaries with the media no longer loving him like they did when he was running against Bush!

Mind you, I have a lot of respect for the McCain... I think he has made some awful mistakes (McCain-Feingold free speech controls for one), but he has also done a lot of good. I just wouldn't want to see him as President.

The Leftist scumbuggers can't contain their enthusiasm over their RUDY--hee-hawing over Evangelical "ignorance" and religious stupidity. Well, duh, the election is over a year away you diseased maniacs. There's time for sane voters to figure out his stripes.

Here's where Giuliani stands, vis-a-vis Hillary Clinton and the party platforms (from Free Republic via Conservative Thoughts) :

As I explained in a comment over at Conservative Thoughts:

The larger picture with the “Conservative movement” is that there is no movement. There have only been various alliances made between religious conservatives, libertarian conservatives, and classical liberals of various stripes based on contingent priorities. The neo-conservatives were a product of anti-Communism, anti-Nazism, and now anti-Islamism and that all they can do is oppose immediate threats speaks directly to their lack of a philosophical and spiritual core. President Bush may well be a decent fellow, but the sort of ruthless suppression of the enemies of freedom and order abroad and at home is no longer possible.

My personal opinion on Bush is that he decided early on to do whatever it took to keep enough political capital to get the judiciary back under control–because failing that, no other effort will matter. Just look at how much evil is perpetrated and sustained by the courts! I don’t know if that gambit can succeed, but it is also they way I would have gone if I were President in these times–that and breaking down the so-called separation of church and state more directly through his faith-based initiative were for a time sources of hope for me.

The majority of people are too far gone, hypnotized by comfort and self-indulgence. Sheep ready for the slaughter. Oh, they can get excited, as they did over BJ Clinton's disgusting vile beahvior and lies, or, golly, as they did after 9/11... and then the people can get just as exicted in the other direction when the media changes the tune. Sheep fit for a despot. The tyranny of the few based on the license of the many. And the Democrats lick their chops and rub their bloody hands with glee.

Whether it's Demosthenes or Cato the Elder or Edmund Burke calling for a reform of morals and return to traditional virtues, when the floodgates of sin and selfishness are flung open, only a magnificent disaster can close them again.

The major insitutions of public life (foundations, academia, science establishment, news media, art and entertainment, civil service and the courts) are all dominated by hedonists, atheists, and deluded utopians. Conservatives of any stripe in those areas are all too often like lousy sheep themselves, afraid to speak up for fear of being made uncomortable or losing their jobs. Tenured COWARDS is what they are.

Things will have to get much worse before they can perhaps get better again. I personally hope that Rick Santorum will decide to run, but I don’t see him drawing enough of the big money (mostly from libertarian and classical liberal types)... without some unforeseen turn of events!

So I request, Mr. Vice President, PLEASE STEP DOWN.

And Mr. President, PLEASE, pick a man with moral integrity and patriotism, who can lead the GOP and our nation safely into the next generation.

And so, if it can't be me, then:

PLEASE name Rick Santorum as your Vice President... A.S.A.P.!

Santorum in 2008!!!

How about a word from Stik-N-Stein?

KIDS GO ON SENATE TOUR, SEE HOW OUR GOVERNMENT WORKS…..really.

This is the Senate Chamber.
We Democrats believe that the people should know what their government is doing. We call this Transparency. Can you say Transparency? It means we pledge to work out in the open. See how open it is here?
I don’t see anyone at the moment…….. but if we are lucky we might see a senator giving a speech, presenting a chart, waving some papers, or hard at work participating in an important photo op……..
