According to these geniuses: Terrorists and unlawful combattants need to be given AMERICAN CONSTITUTIONAL rights!!! (video interview)
#1 Graham: we need to give all the classified evidence we have to the accused, and they need to have a lawyer, be able to confront their accusers, and to have access to American courts for habeas corpus review! Why? Because that way we can hold the Iranians accountable when they have kangaroo courts for our spies!!! Huh???
#2 Spector: we need to protect our interrogators from being sued! Uh, it seems to me that other procedural limits against granting terrorists access to our courts could be enacted--the doctrine of unclean hands (literally) comes to mind. The Supreme Court left it to Congress to determine the amount of due process that is due to these miscreants! Duh!?
#3 Levin: this just shows how evil Bush is for always ignoring international treaties and acting unilaterally in everything!!! Wah! Kerry should be president!!! That way we'd have Jacques Chirac and Kofi Annan to tell us how to be!!!
And all the Utopian Media is atwitter with the General Assembly meeting and the "showdown at the U.N. corral" between the leader of the free world and the Mike Wallace love-child, the blood-sucking messiah from Tehran. Just more of the usual moral equivalency... Let's hope Bush learns a lesson!!! No doubt Mahmoud will be preaching peace and love, and the utopa-dopes will swoon some more... Hilarious.
All of the foregoing makes me rather feel like losing my breakfast. You just know that these Liberals are happy and thrilling because people are dying in Iraq, in Afghanistan, and they are just hoping more death and destruction can intervene in time to make them look better for the elections. They are still cursing Karl Rove's weather machine for blocking the colossal "global warming hurricanes" they predicted. They are vampires. Literally. Liberals live off of the blood and suffering of others. Duh.
WARNING: Imagine a Democrat victory in November. If the President loses the majority in either house, and defintely if the loss is in both houses, there'll be nothing but hearings and pimping and preening on Capitol Hill, not to mention impeachment proceedings, while ROME BURNS. The only way to wipe the smile off of Liberal egotistical faces is to defeat them, clearly, at the polls. Get active and get out the vote!!!
